Imposter Syndrome—characterized by persistent self-doubt, fear of exposure, and difficulty integrating success—affects professionals across clinical, organizational, and leadership contexts. This experiential workshop introduces participants to relational and self-awareness–based approaches for understanding and responding to imposter experiences in themselves and others.

Grounded in Gestalt-informed principles, the program integrates phenomenological inquiry, awareness practices, and structured experimentation to support insight, meaning-making, and behavioral choice. Participants will explore the internal dynamics associated with imposter experiences and examine how intentional role development (often described as “alter ego” work) can be used to expand flexibility, presence, and effectiveness in professional roles.

Learning occurs through facilitated group dialogue, guided experiential exercises, reflective practices, and small-group application activities. Emphasis is placed on ethical boundaries, professional self-regulation, and applying concepts in a manner appropriate to one’s scope of practice.

Participants will leave with an increased capacity to recognize imposter-related patterns, support awareness and integration processes, and apply experiential strategies in professional, supervisory, leadership, or coaching contexts.
