Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (GIC) embraces diversity and recognizes it as both an ethical and business imperative. GIC values diversity and initiatives that promote diversity because they can improve the quality of the organization's work. GIC also values and actively promotes diversity in its leaders, faculty, and staff because diverse participation can serve as a catalyst for innovative programming, improved decision-making, increased productivity, and a competitive advantage.

GIC works to foster an inclusive environment that recognizes the contributions and supports the advancement of all, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, religion, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or disability because an inclusive environment can support quality relationships, improve community relations, and positively affect the well-being of society.

Diversity and inclusion also enable us to adapt and excel in an ever-evolving world and to facilitate programming that also helps other individuals, organizations, and communities to do the same through educational programs and publications addressing the issues of diversity.
