- Have you taken Coaching with Physical Process 2.0 and learned about Character Structures?

- Are you looking to take your Character Structure knowledge to the next level to deepen your understanding and build on your skills?

- Do you want faculty-supported practice seeing and hearing your client’s Character Structure so that you can intervene more confidently in your coaching?

We know that learning about the Character Structures is evocative, illuminating and rich with personal discovery. As a starting point, in our coaching through the lens of Character Structure, we can surface the underlying meaning – the place where we coach the person rather than their situation. And still, understanding and working with Character Structure is almost a lifelong process ~ often taking years to “really get it”.

We’ll continue the lifelong learning in this two-day workshop! In this practice-rich session, you will take the Character Structure content to a deeper level to practice hearing your own structure in your dilemmas and stories, and then applying the content to both see and hear the structures in your client’s dilemmas and stories.

Going further, you will practice making coaching interventions through the lens of both your structure with your client’s structure so that you build confidence and competence taking the power of understanding Character Structure more fully into your coaching.

This Advanced Coaching with Physical Process is especially designed for practitioners who have previously taken the two- or three-day Coaching with Physical Process 2.0.

Learning Objectives:
Participants completing this workshop will be able to:

  • Practice using the lens of Character Structure to hear your own dilemmas and stories.
  • Practice using the lens of Character Structure to see and hear your client’s dilemmas and stories.
  • Make choiceful interventions that coach to the client’s underlying meaning (the who) in addition to the client’s situation (the what).
  • Co-create experiments (particularly structural- and movement-oriented experiments) that support expanded capacity for action.
  • Integrate Coaching with Physical Process and Character Structures with the ICF Core Competencies of Coaching Presence, Building Trust and Intimacy, Active Listening, Powerful Questioning, and Creating Awareness.
  • Build an alumni community steeped in coaching with physical process concepts and practices.
