Continuing Education (through Women Connected): 3 Core Competencies, 9.5 Resource Development

Terri Altschul, PCC, Gestalt Practitioner, Art Journaler

Carl Jung coined the language of “the shadow” to describe the part of the human personality that sits outside of our awareness and consciousness.  Everyone has a shadow.

In this two day retreat, we focus on the richness of The Feminine Shadow.  For thousands of years, society has decided what is possible for women – what women can and cannot aspire to being, doing, and allowing in their lives.  These beliefs about women’s lives are often unconsciously passed from one generation of women to the next.

Imagine your Feminine Shadow like a magnificent castle where you only live in certain rooms – and the other rooms are locked shut.  The contents of these locked rooms contain mysteries, treasures, and wonders to be explored and integrated into the whole of your Being.

Together we will be leaning into art, symbols, imagery, and creativity as we explore our hidden depths.  Terri will introduce you to visual ways of exploring your unknown parts, meeting your guides, and transforming your discoveries into conscious change. You will leave with new tools, resources, and support for continuing this work on your own.
