Ongoing Personal Growth Group to Support Authentic Living

What do you yearn for? What supports you to speak your truth and live authentically?
In this group we will co-create ways of being together and explore how we can be more fully ourselves in the here and now. By attending to our moment to moment interactions we can:

  • Deepen our lived experience
  • Learn about how we interact with ourselves and with others
  • Increase potential ways of being in a supportive community

When:
Every other Wednesday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Where:
The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland
1588 Hazel Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106

Cost:
$45.00 per session

We ask for:

  • A commitment to 12 sessions
  • Payment of 5 sessions upfront
  • Monthly payments thereafter

We strongly suggest that prospective members either have prior gestalt or group experience. The purpose of this recommendation is to familiarize participants with gestalt group work. A conversation with one of the facilitators is a prerequisite for joining the group so that together we can discuss goodness of fit.

Space in the group is limited to no more than 12 participants.

The time we spend together, while not a substitute for individual therapy, can greatly support personal growth and development.

Join us as we take a deep dive into dialogue, embodiment and experiment!

Terri Altschul, PCC, Gestalt Practitioner, Art Journaler

Carl Jung coined the language of “the shadow” to describe the part of the human personality that sits outside of our awareness and consciousness.  Everyone has a shadow.

In this two day retreat, we focus on the richness of The Feminine Shadow.  For thousands of years, society has decided what is possible for women – what women can and cannot aspire to being, doing, and allowing in their lives.  These beliefs about women’s lives are often unconsciously passed from one generation of women to the next.

Imagine your Feminine Shadow like a magnificent castle where you only live in certain rooms – and the other rooms are locked shut.  The contents of these locked rooms contain mysteries, treasures, and wonders to be explored and integrated into the whole of your Being.

Together we will be leaning into art, symbols, imagery, and creativity as we explore our hidden depths.  Terri will introduce you to visual ways of exploring your unknown parts, meeting your guides, and transforming your discoveries into conscious change. You will leave with new tools, resources, and support for continuing this work on your own.

Learning Objectives
Participants completing this workshop will be able to:

  • Deepen their self-understanding and self-discovery
  • Learn and apply various art journaling and creative expression techniques to unlock their shadow parts
  • Experiment with different creative expressions and find ones that can be integrated into your personal practice
  • Leave this workshop with a piece of work that sheds light on your own Feminine Shadow

NO ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED.  ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED.
