The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's Training and Human Development Programs are committed to the continued development of Gestalt practice as a discipline for enhancing personal growth and effectiveness, with emphasis on broad application to individual, group, family, and community work.
We offer education and training of human service professionals in the principles, methods, and applications of the Gestalt discipline; and the education of professional and lay persons toward continuing personal growth and effectiveness.
Our purpose includes the extension of the Gestalt discipline for use in a broad range of human activities such as educational practice, family life, work life, community organization and planning, the creative arts, architecture and environmental design, small groups, teams, and systems, and creative life planning. In addition, we encourage and support scholarship, research writing, publication and such forms of creative activity as may further the other purposes of the programs and extend the boundaries of knowledge and practice.
