The Significant Person Workshop

We are all significant people but this workshop is for the kind of significant person who has a: spouse, spousal equivalent, housemate, lover, sibling or really good buddy who regularly disappears to a grand old Tudor house in University Circle and emerges “contacted, changed or changing”. You may find yourself wondering: what the heck happens at those training programs? If this sounds a little familiar, we just might have something for you.

We are offering our Significant Person workshop to provide a sampling of the activities, experiences, concepts, theories and approaches for “significant people” who are in a relationship with someone who is or has been in a Gestalt training program. It is also an opportunity for you to receive support for your experiences as the significant person of a GIC trainee.

Learning Objectives

  • Present core concepts and theories used in basic Gestalt Training Programs
  • Provide a sampling of activities used in basic Gestalt Training Programs
  • Provide support for the person in the role of significant other
