The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland's Professional Coach Certification Program and coaching workshops are ideal opportunities to develop, expand, and enhance your coaching skills and approach. Over 10 years ago, the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland became the first organization to offer Gestalt coach training. Since then it has evolved to an approach that increases the coach's potency as a change partner through deeper and more comprehensive coaching. This dynamic, creative, and holistic approach to coaching is founded on the Gestalt Coaching Stance. This stance embraces:
Our training provides an engaging and empowering approach which embraces both personal and professional growth. Using the unique and powerful Gestalt self-discovery process, previously unrecognized strengths are revealed and the range of successful coaching behaviors is increased. This combination enables both new and experienced coaches to build upon their existing competencies.
Offerings within coaching training include a coaching certification program which leads to a Gestalt Professional Certified Coach (GPCC™) credential and coach specific workshops. This program and all workshops confer International Coaching Federation coach specific training hours and ACTP accreditation pending. Thus, GIC's coach training participants can become eligible for two certifications (ICF and GPCC™) for the price of one program. A certificate of attendance and professional continuous education credits can also be provided, when requested, for the program and individual workshops.
